My article is about the continuation of the Star Wars: Battlefront series following the closing of Pandemic Studios, creator of the game and the company that began work on the third console project. It is now believed that Slant Six Studios are working on the next title with LucasArts. Since the video of production was leaked from Pandemic, the game has been widely anticipated, but also was believed to be scrapped after the closing of the company. Since all that is known is that Slant Six is working on a high profile new game, nothing is concrete about this being a new installation into the Battlefront series. With this news, hopefully something will be released at E3 this year to announce the next plan for the series.
